the terrace avenue inn

Greetings!

My name is Brenda Hedrick, the innkeeper and owner of the Terrace Avenue Inn.  My husband Al and I live just across the street from The Terrace Avenue Inn.

One of our favorite past times is a relaxing getaway. We hope you will visit The Terrace Avenue Inn for this experience.  A time of relaxing...away from a busy schedule, celebrating a special event, or a place to stay while visiting relatives or handling business.  Guests enjoy not only the bedrooms but a few common rooms as well.  Including the kitchen for light cooking, cottage style dining room, spacious front porch.  Most guests meet my husband Al and our daughters Sarah and Selena.  All of us work together at the Inn and Anna Marie's Teas.

The Terrace Avenue Inn is a Dutch colonial bungalow built in 1923. With each season we enjoy adding new amenities and implementing new ideas at our Inn.  Our goal is to provide a luxurious respite inside and out.  On the first floor of the Inn you will find my other treasure - Anna Marie's Teas, a delightful tea shop specializing in premium teas and products, monthly tea parties and private events.  With over 90 premium loose leaf tea choices, our guests really do enjoy tea service anytime!  www.annateashop.com. The teashop is typically open Tues/Thurs/Sat 10-4pm.  Special arrangements for inn guests can be made.

Lastly, we host monthly themed tea parties and events in my home which is across the street from the Terrace Avenue Inn.  A 100 year old 3 story, 5000 square foot home built in 1913. The house boasts Frank Lloyd Wright details - oak trim, 3 fireplaces and large open spaces. It’s large wraparound porch and period American, French and English antique furnishings create the perfect setting for themed tea parties. Our tea parties are very elegant – yet cozy enough for your dearest friends and family. We would love to have you visit and stay for a Monthly Themed Tea Party.

Warmest Regards,

Brenda
